Cattle Council 2020 AGM

This notice is to declare Cattle Council will hold a virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM)  from 8.00am on Wednesday, 18 November 2020 Via MS Teams.

This year AgForce, Livestock SA, Western Australia Farmers Federation and Victorian Farmers Federation is required to nominate a director each, for a two year term. Voting will be conducted via the CCA website up to 8.00am, Wednesday 18 November 2020 then via MS TEAMS. Link will be provided once voting opens.

SFO board nominations are due by COB WEDNESDAY 7 OCTOBER 2020 using the SFO Board nomination form.

The PGA of WA, NSWFA, NTCA and TFGA nominated directors are currently halfway through their two year term and therefore you are not required to nominate a director this year.

Cattle Council are also calling for direct members to nominate for two independent board positions - one from the south and one from the north.

Written nominations must be received by WEDNESDAY 7 October 2020 and must be supported by at least 20 direct members.

As a direct member you are entitled to vote on nominations for the board and any other motions. Online voting will be available and information will be distributed after close of nominations.

Direct members are entitled to put forward motions. Written motions must be received 14 days before the AGM (by Thursday 29 October 2020). However, motions can also be moved on the day of the AGM.

Representing Your Industry

Any beef producer in Australia can become a Cattle Council member. Membership is $100 (+GST) annually per individual or Property Identification Code (PIC). For those producers who are already members of a State Farming Organisation, the membership fee is waived. Click here for more information on becoming a member.
