Synopsis: Livestock producers will be able to tap into practical research to improve their production in this online and interactive forum to be hosted by the on Friday 31 July. The program includes producers sharing their experiences, panel discussions with industry experts and new beef and sheep industry research that can be applied directly on-farm.

Key topics for discussion include containment feeding, sheep reproduction, genetic benchmarking in the merino industry, dual purpose mixes and cover cropping, extracting more value from cull cows and multi-breed genomic evaluation in beef cattle.

The Graham Centre is a research alliance between Charles Sturt University and the NSW Department of Primary Industries.

 

Representing Your Industry

Any beef producer in Australia can become a Cattle Council member. Membership is $100 (+GST) annually per individual or Property Identification Code (PIC). For those producers who are already members of a State Farming Organisation, the membership fee is waived. Click here for more information on becoming a member.
