Angus Australia invites Angus seedstock and commercial breeders to an online event showcasing the latest research and development relating to Angus genetics. A dynamic series of presentations will be delivered during the event, covering topics including:

Genomic opportunities for commercial breeders

Are Angus cows getting too big?

Understanding heat tolerance in Angus cattle

New tools and educational support for Angus breeders

The free event will be streamed from the Angus Australia Youtube channel.

Time: 7pm AEST, 26 May 2020.

The online event will be followed by a series of facilitated online discussion sessions on May 27 where interested participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of presenters and provide feedback to Angus Australia and research staff on the content of the presentations. Information regarding how to register for the online discussion sessions will be distributed during the online event.

Representing Your Industry

Any beef producer in Australia can become a Cattle Council member. Membership is $100 (+GST) annually per individual or Property Identification Code (PIC). For those producers who are already members of a State Farming Organisation, the membership fee is waived. Click here for more information on becoming a member.
