Andrew Ogilvie was elected President of Cattle Council at the Cattle Council Annual General Meeting in Longreach, Queensland, on 15th November 2011.
Andrew is an active partner and owner of an extensive family owned beef cattle enterprise situated in the South-East of South Australia and Western Victoria.
Andrew has practical experience in all aspects of beef cattle breeding and feeding systems, including feed lotting, pasture management, farm finance, Quality Assurance systems and marketing.
Andrew has been involved with rural industry boards, committees and councils for several years and is currently the Chairman of the Livestock Committee for the South Australian Farmers' Federation.
