Countdown to Cattle Council NAB Agribusiness Rising Champions Finals
Seven young Australian beef industry representatives will travel to Canberra next week to participate in the Cattle Council’s NAB Agribusiness Rising Champions Initiative.
The three-day program is jam-packed and will provide contestants with the opportunity to meet key leaders of the Australian beef industry.
The overall champion of this year’s NAB Agribusiness Rising Champion Initiative will attend the Five Nations Beef Alliance Conference and Young leaders Program in Mexico this October.
Cattle Council is proud to announce that it has secured a generous prize from the Australian Beef Industry Foundation for sponsorship of our runner up to attend the 2016 Marcus Oldham Rural Leadership Program.
“The calibre of contestants this year is exceptional, with a variety of skills, beef experience and industry knowledge,” Cattle Council CEO Jed Matz said.
“The initiative would not be possible without the support of our sponsors NAB Agribusiness, McDonalds Australia and Fairfax Media.
“We also welcome new support from RB Sellars, who will be kitting out our Rising Champions to commemorate their time here in Canberra.
“Cattle Council is proud of the six year history of Rising Champions. We are providing a path for these young, beef focused individuals to network, learn and progress in the industry,” Mr Matz said.
This year’s program has an exciting line-up of speakers, including Tracey Monaghan, Supply Chain Manager for McDonalds Australia; Geoff Rose, Head of NSW NAB Agribusiness and Catherine Marriot, Managing Director of Influential Women.
