Cattle Council welcomes taskforce

The Cattle Council of Australia welcomes the creation of a new task force to develop a framework to promote the Australian beef industries sustainability credentials to a worldwide audience, managed by the Red Meat Advisory Council.

Cattle Council sees this as an opportunity for the Australian industry to verify claims and put integrity behind existing supply chain initiatives.

“Cattle Council will continue, as a member of the Red Meat Advisory Council, to work to validate Australian industry claims of the integrity behind existing supply chain initiatives,” CCA President Andrew Ogilvie said.

“In turn, this will provide customers and the community with the opportunity to see structures and initiative behind the story of Australian beef production to ensure we continue to be a world leader,” Mr Ogilvie said.
