From the $5 cattle transaction grass fed levy, $4.58 is allocated to MLA to carry out the marketing ($3.66) and research ($0.92) activities for Industry.

MLA’s proposed marketing plan to grow demand for Australian beef at home and abroad over the coming year is put under the microscope by Cattle Council's Marketing Taskforce and other red meat industry representatives at annual marketing meetings.

Cattle Council's Marketing Taskforce works on marketing issues for the broader Council. This Taskforce evaluates and endorses, along with other industry groups, marketing campaigns for our beef.
