The Cattle Council of Australia were thrilled to support Beef Week 2015, which provided a diverse range of industry representatives, seminars, events and entertainment throughout the week. Allowing producers, international delegates and the public the chance to see all things beef! 

‘Greener Pasture’ Grassfed Dinner

Showcasing Australia’s grassfed beef industry on an international platform. AgForce Queensland and Cattle Council wanted to provide Australian grassfed producers and processors the chance to collaborate and discuss areas surrounding the grassfed beef industry.  Many representatives from the grassfed beef supply chain to Australian ministers attended this event to celebrate the uniqueness and success of grass-fed beef in Australia. The night provided networking and acknowledgement of not only the producers and industry leaders promoting PCAS but acknowledgement to the winner of the grassfed awards.

Presented by Alexei Rudolf principal at Foodservice Connections, LLC, a specialized Foodservice Marketing and Public Relations Consultancy based in the San Francisco Bay.

Alexei provided an overview of the grassfed industry within America and the demand for a grassfed product within todays beef industry. Guests were provided with a tasteful selection of different cuts of beef ranging from eye fillet, cheek to beef heart. CCA and AgForce were extremely pleased with the turn out and look forward to the future of PCAS.  

Future Generations Luncheon

The future generations of the Australian beef industry are becoming very successful within many areas of the Australian beef industry. Our youth are demonstrating international standards within their knowledge and challenging our international partners with their initiative to succeed. To increase the success of our youth, Cattle Council of Australia and James Becker & Co provided young individuals the chance to listen to five key industry personal regarding issues within the beef industry both of national and international importance. This exclusive discussion provided the “Future Generation” beef youth the opportunity to exchange contacts with other industry personal as well as meet other youth excelling in the industry. Finishing with a beautiful lunch our invited youth walked away with projections for the future, personal progression tactics and some industry made friends. 

AgForce and Cattle Council trade stand

AgForce and Cattle Council of Australia partnered together to provide a stall for all Beef Week attendees. Throughout the week our stall had all CCA staff available to take questions and provided answers to any issues within the beef industry. 

Bruce Vincent Seminar- Beef Beyond 2015 ‘Can we ‘Meat’ consumer’s expectations and our own

Bruce Vincent presented a excellent seminar focusing on consumer expectations, industry venues, social licence and providing a tool kit for producers to assist in engaging with different customer avenues. Not only did Bruce present these issues but a panel also assisted him.
