Cattle Council holds two Executive meetings and two full Council meetings each year.

The meetings are held in various locations and some sessions are open to producers and the media. Please contact Cattle Council if you would like further details on our upcoming meetings.

Cattle Council attends events around Australia that are beef cattle producer-focused.
Through these events, Cattle Council consults grass roots producers on the issues that affect their profitability. If you believe there is an event that facilitates conversation between the Cattle Council and the nation's beef cattle producers on the national issues that affect our industry, please contact the Cattle Council.

Herds of Hope
Cattle Council is a supporting organisation to 'Herds of Hope’, a McDonalds initiative.

At the core of Herds of Hope is for beef producers to donate one or more animals to the charity. Ear tags have been printed for producers to affix to calves for sale/donation at a later date.

McDonald’s is the number one purchaser worldwide of Australian beef, buying around 100,000 tonnes of our beef each year. Ronald McDonald House is a unique facility that provides accommodation to the families of sick children; most of these families are from rural and regional Australia.
