2018 BIGG Conference – Building Resilience

The 2018 Barossa Improved Grazing Group Conference will be held on Thursday, February 22, from 1.30pm and focus on the topic Building Resilience – strategies for a robust grazing system.
 
Presenters include former sports commentator Mark Aiston, agro-ecologist and soil fertility specialist David Hardwick, as well as PIRSA researcher Brian Hughes, Peter Toome, Brett Nietschke and Mark Branson.
 
This year’s conference will explore how you can build resilience into your soils, your pastures, your strategies and yourself, funded by Natural Resources SA Murray Darling Basin, Adelaide & Mt Lofty Ranges Natural Resources Management Board, Meat and Livestock Australia, and the Australian Government’s National Landcare Programme.
 
Tickets cost $50, which includes presentations, afternoon tea and two-course dinner and drinks with networking.
